Hamideh is a scientist, a mom, an art enthusiast, and a science communicator.

With a strong academic foundation as an honor student at UC Berkeley and the University of Toronto, Hamideh received comprehensive training in academic writing and research methodology. Over a span of 12 years, she made a successful transition from being a meticulous scientist to becoming a highly skilled communicator, specializing in translating intricate scientific concepts into easily understandable language for non-technical audiences.

In addition to her professional achievements, Hamideh is deeply committed to giving back to her community. She actively volunteers at her children’s schools and with organizations dedicated to promoting leadership and STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and math) education for women and youth, both in Canada and her home country, Iran. STEAM has played a pivotal role in Hamideh’s life since a young age, and her goal is to advocate for equal accessibility to STEAM for all.
