Helix Town's Science Trio

(Coming Soon)

Helix Town’s Science Trio programs consist of the following elements :

Watch and Learn

Our stories are developed based on scientific facts and delivered through adventure packed short animation movies. Engaging 3D animation movies involve relatable characters on quest to find answers and solve mysteries. Animation is not only an appealing form of storytelling and conveying information to young audiences but also a powerful method to visualize and present topics that can not be observed without elaborate equipment and has a positive impact of student’s learning and thinking skills.

Meet the Scientist

After watching the animation movie, the group will have an opportunity to meet a scientist whose line of research focuses on the subject introduced in the movie. The animation movie not only teaches students specific scientific concepts, but also acts as a primer for the conversation that students will have with the scientists. This makes the discussion more efficient and productive. The meeting will take place online via a board-approved platform such as Google Meet, Zoom or Skype. The students will have a chance to meet a real-life scientist, ask questions and engage in meaningful discussion with an expert in the field!

Hands-On Learning

The concept of a hands-on learning experience is not new to the world of education. It has been around for years, and it's what makes the difference between a good teacher and a great one. But when it comes to science education, the concept of hands-on learning is sometimes overlooked. Science is a hands-on field. This can be done by integrating science into daily life. Our hands-on projects are easy to follow, using normal items that students can find in their homes. While participating in these hands-on activities, students can ask questions, so they fully understand the concepts before beginning another project.
